Concretus + Hi-Point Roofing reception |
Requirements included open plan workstations allowing for future expansion, offices for managers, reception, boardroom, a large staff hub with pool table and gym and mezzanine storage facility. A masculine aesthetic was also essential.
The finishes & design had to have a strong correlation with the client’s branding and sustainable fittings were to be used where possible. A 100% recyclable PET panel product called Woven Image was chosen for all the pinnable boards in offices, workstations & utility areas. The feature wall in the Reception area was clad in INAX; a volcanic ash mosaic tile which controls humidity, inhibits the spread of mould, dissipates odours and harmful substances such as VOCs and improves indoor air quality.
Boardroom featuring Ian Mutch’s artworks |
The change of usage for the site required liaison and planning approvals for the design. The mezzanine was of concern to the council but through our diligence and consultative approach, MKDC were able to gain DA without undue delay.
Of particular interest was the unique boardroom artwork created by Dunsborough artist, Ian Mutch which provides a direct visual link to the Concretus + Hi Point Roofing’s core values (visit www.mutchart.com/news to see how the canvas artwork came together).
The client was able to move in at the agreed time. At all levels from management to skilled workers, client feedback about the aesthetics and functionality has been exceptionally positive.
HI Tenille / Melanie,
I would like to say how pleased I am about the Hi-Point /Concretus office set up.
It was exactly what I was hoping for and it is a credit to you and the team. Thanks
again and I look forward to working with you in the future when opportunity
presents. Ps. We are also very happy with the new DAH reception layout downstairs.
Thanks.
